Highlights of Madame Tussauds

As the original Tussauds museum location, Madame Tussauds in London exhibits some sculptures that were made by Tussaud herself in the museum’s history exhibit. Some of the notable surviving sculptures include Robespierre, George III and Tussaud’s self-portrait. Other significant exhibits include Steven Spielberg, Darth Vader, the Beatles, Usain Bolt, Napoleon Bonaparte and Barack Obama.

Madame Tussauds has some special themed experiences that you can visit on your trip. Alien: Escape puts you aboard the Covenant to navigate the spaceship among xenomorphs and the iconic 'Alien: Covenant' movie characters. The Captain Marvel interactive experience uses a massive screen and AR technology to turn you into a superhero.

Good to know for visiting Madame Tussauds

You can book tickets to Madame Tussauds online in advance or through the self-service kiosks. You’ll be assigned a time slot for your tour, so it’s best to arrive a bit early in case of long queues. The museum offers many ticket options, including combination attraction tickets, pre-booked tickets and a V.I.P. experience.

After visiting the museum, you can make a stop at some of London’s other top attractions. The British Museum, a treasure trove of historical artifacts, and Hyde Park are nearby. You could also visit Buckingham Palace to tour the lavish interior and see the daily Changing of the Guard ceremony.
