Peterborough

The city of Peterborough is in eastern England and is famed for its Peterborough Cathedral, which dates to the 12th and 13th centuries and boasts a stunning Gothic façade. At the Peterborough Museum, visitors will explore a former hospital that includes a functional Victorian theatre reconstructed from an original as well as hundreds of artifacts ranging from fossils to pottery to paintings. For a chance to actually walk through history, visitors head to Flag Fen Archaeology Park where it’s possible to walk through the remains of a Bronze Age village and causeway

At Nene Park, wooded footpaths and the Ferry Meadows recreation area allow the opportunity to relax and get back to nature for a time.
