Great Peaceful Vacation
The Riu Palace was wonderful! Even though it was 100% capacity according to the front desk at check-in, it didn't feel too crowded. Staff was friendly and attentive, and there was no shortage of food and drinks. The free minibar in the room was a fun plus too--I've gone to all-inclusive resorts in Mexico many times but never had that. I left my debit card in the sports bar (whoops) and the front desk notified me upon check-out and returned it before my trip home, thank goodness!
All in all it was a super relaxing and peaceful vacation. The demographic was a lot older than I was anticipating, but I hear that if you visit the Riu Jalisco (which you have access to as a Palace guest), they party a little harder there. I wasn't feeling that for this trip though, so I'm glad it was quieter and we got the R&R we were looking for.
