The hotel is a standard Ibis hotel located very close to Alexanderplatz in quite a noisy and congested street. Said so, the main issue I had was a very low level of attention to customers' requests and a low level of proactivity and empathy from hotel staff towards customers. I had a request which apparently could not been accomodated which is fine (I could live with Ibis negative response to my request). However, what I noticed to my dismay and what I as a customer could not accept, was the lack of attention from Ibis staff to my request, not to say absence of smiles when I spoke with them. Ibis should teach their staff to be emphatic and friendly to customers and, eventually, to smlie too.
