We stayed for a couple of nights mid-week. We arrived before the 3pm check in time and popped in to see if we could park the car and go off to explore, parking is expensive at £17 a day when right outside is free! Being mid week we had no problem finding a space although I imagine at weekends and peak holiday times it may be different. Reception signed us up for the Hilton honers club so we could check in early, this was a nice touch. The room was spotlessly clean, reasonably sized and very comfortable. There were refillable dispensers of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the bathroom and a basic hospitality tray, no biscuits though! There was also no fridge in the room. The breakfast was good, on the continental side there was cereal, pastries, grapefruit, yogurt and cheese. Hot options was sausage, bacon, beans, mushrooms, hash browns and scrambled egg- no other egg choice available, there was also a waffle maker that I am sure kids would love. There Is a bar and they serve food, we didn’t eat here but did have a drink on the first evening, typical hotel prices. The hotel is in a quiet area past the pleasure beach, it was quite a walk to the nearest pubs/shops but there is a tram stop right across the road. Overall for the price we paid it was good value for money and I would definitely stay again.
