Good choice for Birmingham airport hotel
Overnight crew stay for airport. Hotel as you would expect at this price level and company. Breakfast was good selection,quality and tasty but dinner was little disappointing menu wise and the ordering system was odd. Felt a bit canteen/cafe like instead of hotel restaurant.

Not as good as before
Not a great experience. Staff not properly able to handle large groups. Disappointed re Residents Bar / food which Closed at 1.00 am without notice,and were referred to room service which was literally cold drinks and cold sandwiches from a Starbucks fridge. Duty manager was good and tried to help but his hands were tied.
Some staff were very unprofessional and didn't know how to handle customers, some were arrogant and really need to brush up on their customer service skills.
I came to this place a couple of years ago and it was 10 times better before with more attentive staff.
Overall, we spent a substantial amount of money, but the level of service was not worth the price.

Very busy and not enough staff
Parking was inadequate, I had to try 3 spaces to find one that fit my car and I was worried about my car being dented due to how small the spaces were. Checking in took ages, I assume I got caught behind a bus of people from the airport, but because of this it took an hour to check in. Topping it all off, I was awakened by a fire alarm. In all, just a lot of little issues that alone might not have been a big deal, but all together not a nice combination.

Sadly we had booked a King Room via your site but this was not allocated and when queries with the hotel I was informed that due to booking with a third party there was nothing that could be done !!
This would prevent me from considering a third party booking in the future
The room was also very noisy, located at the front of the property where lots of people where gathered to socialise over a vape or cigarette - quite disturbing until the early hours.
