Due to flight delays, I arrived at just after one in the morning. When I arrived, the front desk told me that my name did not match the reservation. They tried to blame Expedia, but Expedia had it right. Somehow, they got my name wrong and one in the morning., werevery reluctant to give me a room. Then, when I finally went to my room, even though the light turned green, the door knob would not open. At breakfast, I had to seat myself. I asked if the eggs Benedict could come with ham instead of salmon and I’d be happy to pay the same price. I was told that was not possible. I found I had a served myself coffee because my waiter did not. My orange juice was never refilled. If you like Chinese food, you will like the area, but if you’re looking for classic New York fair like deli, pizza, or bagels, you will be very disappointed. The hotel does not provide basic amenities like Q-tips or lotion. It is not a Bonvoy standard hotel but sometimes I think Bonvoy is not a Bonvoy standard hotel. I do not generally bash hotels, but this place really was a true disappointment.
