“We stayed as we were going to portsmouth dockside. I did originally think it was closer to more things but thats my own fault for not checking. Easy to access though from the roads so just nipped in the car the next day. We stayed 1 night, had a drink in the bar. Didnt eat so cant comment on food. Very clean and staff friendly.”

“Second visit and the hotel coverall was very good. However, the weather was very warm and so was the room with no air conditioning. Unfortunately the windows could only be partly opened due to security cables. Only a duvet was provided but far too warm for use. A sheet would have been good but not provided. A fan was provided but not that useful. So overall sleep difficult. ”

“This was a brief stay but the hotel was excellent. Staff were super helpful. Room was very clean and had everything we might need including iron. Very comfortable. Breakfast was included and very tasty with lots of options. Didn’t like coffee but seems to be same in many hotels using the type of machine they have. Great location and easy parking. Highly recommend. ”

“My first stay at Gunwharf Holiday Inn. Lovely cozy hotel. Close to all restaurants, railway station and outlet shopping.
Hotel was clean, neat and tidy. The air conditioning wasn’t working but the staff accommodated us with 3 table fans . The weather was quite pleasant, so didn’t mind the air conditioning not working. Breakfast options were very good too.
Will definitely be visiting the hotel in the summer.
