studio near cours saleya in the old town
The location is very good for visiting the old town in Nice or to have a nice walk along the seaside. Also many restaurants and pubs are located nearby. The accommodation (3rd floor, no lift) was a little apartment of an old house renewed some years ago I guess. Climbing the stairs with my heavy baggage was not that easy, but fortunately I am not that old...the room under the roof was ok, there was some noise from the street nearby but I found it a nice sign that the city is alive. What was less nice was the mattress which I felt as obtained by joining two one-place mattresses with the result of being non-planar. If one is well organized or has time to do the cleaning some money could be spared, it was not my case so for me the price was rather high even if as I understand the city center is rather expensive. In summary, apart from the mattress issue especially important if you think to sleep several days on it, I think the place could be recommended only for a well organized (never forget your cell phone otherwise contacting the reception might be difficult) young couple with no kids.

Peggiore esperienza in 10 anni di viaggi
A primo impatto si può pensare che con Apart hotel Riviera si vada a risparmiare ed invece si va incontro ad una incognita. Senza andare in tutti i dettagli, riassumo alcuni punti: -la descrizione delle condizioni dice "Il check-in posticipato dalle ore 18:00 alle ore 22:00 è disponibile a un costo aggiuntivo (l'importo è variabile)". Questo importo equivale a 40 EURO per arrivo tra le 18 e le 20 e oltre le 20 il costo è di 60 EURO. La camera costava 45 alla prenotazione, ma è arrivata a costare OLTRE I 100 EURO. - Se si esagera con il consumo di corrente te la fanno pagare -Preparatevi a rifare le lenzuola prima di andarvene, -Preparatevi a pulire bagni e pavimenti -Preparatevi a portare fuori l'immondizia Unica nota positiva era la posizione centrale, MA con 108 euro (costo totale comprese le varie tasse) potevo tranquillamente stare in un hotel 4 stelle con visuale sul mare.

Sliten, men romslig leilighet i gamlebyen i Nice
Fin beliggenhet, men mye støy fra gatene, selv med lukkede vinduer. Synlige tegn etter lekkasje i flere av rommene. Synlig muggsopp og rotten lukt på badet på grunn av manglende ventilasjon. Kaffetrakter og oppvaskmaskin manglet til tross for at vi ble lovet dette. Romslig stue med store vinduer, men likevel lite lys.

• We were surprised that there would be a cleaning fee on top of the fee for staying. This is highly unusual for a hotel. The extra fee really ought to be advertised ahead of time more clearly. • The place had virtually no daylight! There were 2 large windows, but only to a narrow shaft with building on all sides (approximately 3x3 meters and approximately 4 stories high). These windows were darkened with a reflective film, making it even darker. • The bedroom door was so low that we could not walk into and out of the bedroom without having to bend down significantly. The door frame was only 175 tall. • Several restaurants or other businesses right under the apartment removed trash or other containers or items with A LOT of loud, metallic scraping and clanking every morning between approximately 4 and 6 am. • The bedroom was so small that one person had to literally crawl into and out of bed. We are not as agile as we used to be. We enclose pictures. • There was dried menstrual or other blood on the comforter, which did not have a comfoter cover. There were also blood-like stains and other stains on the two sofa pillows. • The location address is just the front desk, which is an office. Our unit/room was a few minutes walk away. • The TV looked new, but we could not find any English language stations. • As a couple, it was inconvenient to only get one set of keys. • The apartment was nicely renovated with new fridge, washing machine, and coffee maker.
The foot of the bed didn't have much room either. It was really impossible to walk in the bedroom, you have to crawl over the bed.

This is what we call “false advertising” the pictures don’t match with the real quality of this property. This place is nothing but disgusting. Once we got to the “studio”, no AC, broken shower, the towels full of small hair like someone shaved and then cleaned with it. Well, we were The “bed” is not a bed… it’s a rustic-hard sofa that is converted into a “bed”… After complaining the concierge said: I’ll send someone to fix it TOMORROW. You must pay a cleaning fee of $50 USD but you must take the garbage at whatever address… so why you are asked to pay this fee? The concierges said it was because of the category we paid for: studio. Well, the quality of a property doesn’t have anything to do with the number of rooms. I never would have rented it if I know since the beginning this is what we were paying for. Once you confirm and pay this reservation they tell you that they assign your place upon availability. Of course we had to leave and pay for another place, no shower, no AC, dirty towels full of hairs, enough reasons to leave on top of the other ones explained already. This place didn’t provide us with what the description says nor the basic needs as they offer. There’s no way we can sleep in a place like this. And on top of that it was my husband’s birthday which had a terrible day because of it. Not recommended. I would choose 0 stars but there’s no option.

This was a great location, and a historical stay, which I loved. Unfortunately, I felt very disrespected by the hotel. They came into our apartment where we were staying without telling us. We asked for more toilet paper and they could have delivered it then as we were always out and did not have time to stop by the office. The pillows and bed were uncomfortable and 2 out of the 5 appliances did not work. The furniture was worn out and dirty. Also the shower had issues. We dealt with everything and made the most of it, but I am truly disappointed in the way we were treated. We should have received another room that had the working amenities offered.

To the start, the customer service wasn’t that great, the day we landed, we were searching for our hotel since there are many locations but in close proximity to each other, we couldn’t get in our apartment and had to walk all the way to the service centre to later find out that we have been moved to a different location.. as we arrived the bed sheets were dirty and had stains on them, it was extremely small not meant for 2 people, the ac doesn’t travel to the bedroom, there were no curtains so no privacy… and it was noisy, they barely refilled our toilet paper unless we repeatedly asked, the toilet has no ventilation for if your using warm to hot water, only a window which is blocked by the building, many other problems, overall wouldn’t stay here unless you want to be in the heart of old nice!

We had a mouse in our room the entire stay and no hot water for days until they were able to assist with that. Staff was not very helpful and there was trash outside our room for days before we brought it to their attention and they finally removed it.

This property was not as advertised. We had to go to multiple locations just to get the keys and then get to the apartment. The apartment was much smaller than advertised and did not come with the specified amenities. Only half a roll of toilet paper was provided to 2 girls for 4 nights. There were several stains on the chairs and bed which made this place seem unclean. We were also expected to clean the entire place prior to leaving which was not clearly made aware to us during booking.

The location of this property is fantastic- in the heart of old town and a 2 min walk to the water front. That said, it’s very loud into the early hours of the morning which makes sleeping challenging. The main living space has AC but the bedroom doors need to be left open to get air into the rooms which does not help with dampening the noise while sleeping. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need. The floors felt like they hadn’t been swept and the beds are very uncomfortable. If you have difficulty with stairs, this property is not for you. We loved that the property had a washing machine!

I stayed at this property in July 2024. We arrived and picked up the keys to our apartment around 6pm. We then walked to the apartment and unlocked the door to the apartment. When we attempted to open the door, the door handle fell off! We were unable to enter the apartment. There was and still is no contact number after 6pm to contact the reception! I swiftly ran to the office to see if anyone could help, but they had shut by this point. I was left with no other option but to spend a night in a hotel nearby. I went to the reception the day after, and they apologised and fixed the door handle. I was told that I would get a refund for the 1 night stay and they were sorting this out with Expedia. The apartment was ok in itself. A small apartment, very steep staircase to get up with luggage. The apartment had the basics that you need however the air conditioning was very loud! After checking out on the final day and not receiving a refund for the first night, the reception staff said that I have to contact Expedia myself. I am now home, and still not received my refund. I have contacted Expedia directly who have said they have tried multiple times to contact the property and they have declined the 1 night refund on multiple attempts. Expedia have told me there is nothing else that they can do as the property has declined my refund. I am therefore writing this review to warn people of how deceitful this property is and to not book with them. I feel really let down by them :(

We had to change properties after the first night as the air conditioning unit in our first place was broken. Otherwise, the property was beautiful and well equipped. The second property had working air conditioning, but was not quite as nice. The bed was hard as a rock. The location of both properties in the Old Town was great. Everything was walkable. I also want to give a should out to the property manager for being responsive and able to move us because of the air conditioning issue.
