There was no-one to meet us at the pier, to carry the luggage and it was difficult to carry/wheel the bags along the dirt roads with no paving. The surroundings were very disappointing. The area is under construction, it's dirty and noisy and not a pleasant walk to the hotel. The room was nice and it was clean. The view from the room was construction works with people there all day, working and making noise. The wifi didn't work well and the tv had bad reception. I didn't bother with the restaurant for breakfast, I didn't feel comfortable considering the surroundings weren't clean. The water in pool was dirty the first day and not that clean the other days either. I was told that the sea is not clean either as the waste is dumped in it and, when the tide goes out, it doesn't look at all inviting! Normally, I would expect better for a hotel that cost almost €100 per night so, overall, I was disappointed considering the cost. I spent a little more for a 5 star hotel in Phuket and it was top class. I was shocked when I arrived at the PP Princess and would have changed hotel except that the immediately deducted the full amount from my credit card. It is not worth the price
