We entered room 302 and immediately noticed an unpleasant smell (very similar to a damp and unclean environment), but we still tried to settle in. Within a few minutes, we realized that the bathroom light kept flickering and, most importantly, the noise from the street was so loud through the window that it would not allow us to sleep.
At that point, we kindly asked if we could have a room facing the inner garden, and they moved us to room 501.
In room 501: the TV does not work, in the windowless bathroom the cleaning-air-fan does not work, the room phone to call reception does not work, the hairdryer got so hot it burned my hand, the fridge does not work and there wasn't even any drinking water inside... But, the last and most important thing is that we had to take a COLD SHOWER (in February) because the hot water was not working. After "washing" with hot water from the sink, we spoke to the receptionist, who was very kind, explaining all of this and asking if they could at least give us some drinking water, but she said it was not possible (even though they have a restaurant to serve breakfast). We asked for an extra blanket because the room was cold, and we were given a blanket with disgusting, dried blood-like stains. Looking closer at the carpet, it was also not very clean.
Finally, the window locking mechanism was broken, limiting the reduction of outside noise.
I asked to speak with the General Manager, but he does not work on Saturday evenings and on Sunday
