Very unsatisfied with the food and drinks.
The cafeteria food was unremarkable, a bland assortment that barely satisfied our appetites. The hotel only offers two dining options—Marco Polo and Mexican Pancho—both of which require reservations that are nearly impossible to secure. Desperate to enjoy a proper meal, we resorted to voicing our frustrations at the front desk, which finally resulted in a reservation. Sadly, the meals at both restaurants were disappointing.
The hotel itself carries the weight of age, with peeling paint and worn fixtures that beg for a thorough renovation. Moreover, the lobby was a constant hub of activity, filled with persistent agents aggressively promoting hotel memberships. Their relentless pursuit continued each day, even after we politely declined their offers.
As for our room, it was far from a sanctuary. We encountered serious plumbing issues—an overflowing toilet and a shower drain that refused to function, creating an unpleasant experience. The poor management only added to our discomfort, while the front desk staff exhibited a discouraging lack of courtesy. Overall, our stay fell woefully short of expectations..
