This property was perfect. Great location and cold air. Amenities were great and Marina was fantastic. We had 2 rooms because there were 5 of us and it worked out well.

It is a decent room for our family’s purpose, albeit a little too small for a family of 4.

4/10 Discreto

The location is convenient and the guest room was fine overall. Beds were very small, however, and no extra pillows were available as there is no one on site for extra requests.

We were extremely impressed with Catone Vatican Suites. Marina, our host treated us like family and gave us many suggestions and advice for enjoying Rome. The accommodations were immaculate and very comfortable! The situation close to the Vatican was easily walkable and other venues were either walkable or easily accessed by taxi! Definitely a 5 experience! Thank you Marina for all you did for us!

The room was clean and comfortable. Really liked the building architecture. Having a rental car, where every ding or scrape is inspected and charged for, parking was very important. We chose Parking Roma San Pietro that was convenient to the hotel. That was based on the reviews and the recommendation by Marina the hotel manager. As others have noted Marina was very helpful and attentive. She even agreed to keep our luggage, in the office, as we explored the Spanish Steps , Trevi Fountain , Pantheon and other amazing sites after checkout time. This gave us peace of mind that our luggage was safe. All in all the experience was very good. I would definitely recommend Catone Vatican Suites.
Plaque on building wall, lets you know that you’ve arrived
Cool lift. Looks like something from the 1930s
Floor buttons in lift.
Restaurant near the hotel where we had dinner. Many restaurants in the area

It was a comfortable stay in this hotel. We arrived early around 2:15 pm. Check in time should be 3pm. We got a code to go in the building and was able to leave our baggages in the common area. A staff GianLuca showed up helped us check in and collected our local tax upon our check in. Then we were assigned a room. There were 3 rooms in the property and every room has its own bathroom. Inside the room, it is spacious and clean with coffee m@chine, good size TV, mini fridge and a cool enough aircon. Our room even comes with a window and we have direct sunlights coming in. We have a cleaning lady comes in daily and once you created a WhatsApp group with the hotel, you'll have a contact person to help you. This is not a typical hotel like Marriot but the location is very convenient to Vatican which is only 5 -8 minutes walk. Depends on your pace. The closet subway station is Ottaviano and lots of bus station. We did our pilgrimage to 7 churches and very easy to commute. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area. We were also visited Vatican after dark and was able to see the beauty of St. Pete at dusk. I would highly recommend this hotel.
