If you’re looking for a thrill, head to the Fuji-Q Highland amusement park and check out rides including some that hold world records. Head up the 193-metre-long spiral slope that extends all the way from the ground floor to the 4th floor of the exhibition building, and you can enjoy a virtual experience of climbing this grand mountain that's suitable for all ages.

The Kiseki Museum of World Stones is a museum that displays slightly unusual stones. The exhibition rooms have extensive collections, including fossils, gemstones, and stones that glow in the dark. There’s also an exhibition featuring children’s author and stone enthusiast Kenji Miyazawa.

Probably the most exciting attraction for younger visitors will be the Gemstone House, which offers a treasure hunting experience. If you find small gemstones hidden in the pebbles within a 30-minute time limit, you can take them home with you. Get ready to fill your boots!
