The location is very convenient: literally few steps away from Alexanderplatz. The meet and greet was not particularly exciting: two guys behind the counter in a very dark hall: one of the two didn’t even greet us, the other one took care of us hardly cracking a smile. It was the four of us travelling in 4 singles: normally an effort is made to keep us together, but in this case we were spread around the hotel; two of us were assigned two rooms on the ground floor, behind the reception, which appeared to have been converted from offices or pantries. The decor and furniture was fine, the cleanliness was acceptable. The bathroom was fine in size, but a bit cold, and the electric heater, once plugged in, only worked for a short time, and the shower head holder became detached on me twice. The breakfast buffet had pretty much everything, in line with a 3***. Generally, with one or two exceptions, the staff was not friendly at all: either robotic or totally not interested. Do not have high expectations for this establishment.
