“Great little one night stay in heart of Franz Josef. Man at check in was so happy and friendly that I left there smiling. Our room was basic but had everything we needed. Beds weren’t the most comfy but pillows were excellent. Laundry on site at $4 for wash and $4 for dryer was very convenient. Walking distance to everything. Free wifi worked great.”

“Spent a fabulous night here while waiting to go on the helicopter the next morning to visit the glacier. Greeted very wamly at reception and our accommodation was huge!! Two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, dining and lounge areas. Was about a 5 min drive on the edge of town - we went to town to see the kiwis and have dinner. Would stay here again. ”

Only thing i think could be improved was the tv only had 4 channels and two of those were sport but there were dvds (although very old titles) that could be borrowed from the lounge. Would definitely stay here again.”

They offered free veg soup every evening and the kitchen was very well equipped. Private room was comfy and the showers were great. Lovely touch to have the hot tub available too. Everywhere was very clean. Would definitely recommend. ”
