“Don't forget there is a 1800 rupees fee to enter the square and you need your passport but you can get a pass the last as long as your visa.
If staying over 5 days you need a passport size photo for you pass card.

“per mia fortuna ho soggiornato in questa struttura solo una notte. il freddo che ho patito è stato indescrivibile! l'hotel infatti non dispone di riscaldamento nè di qualunque altra forma di calore. non ci sono stufe elettriche neanche a pagamento! ti forniscono solo una borsa dell'acqua calda! la stanza era nella parte nuova ed era molto carina per l'arredamento e per la stupenda vista sulla catena montuosa, ma non si può prescindere dal riscaldamento a gennaio! c'erano 3 gradi fuori e dentro...

It is in a beautiful location the rooms are comfortable there is constant hot water the food is incredible & the staff so kind & attentive & helpful. We went on a wonderful walk & visited the little town of Nuakot with its beautiful Durbar square currently being restored. We loved our stay at the Famous Farm & would love to return. It’s a long bumpy dusty road but worth the journey! Go you will love it.”

My "villa" was in the forest where it was quiet and peaceful, except the day the hotel next to us had a wedding, lol. And the view from the rooftop of the hotel was spectacular despite the haze of the summer. If you're goal is a view of the snow capped mountains, go in September- November. But that did not disappoint me. ”
