“Lovely small farm with horses, chickens and geese. Old farmhouse with vintage wooden doors and ceiling beams. Lots of adorable knick-knacks. The room was clean with tea and coffee making facilties. The beds could have been more comfortable. Modernised en-suite with shower. Clean and tidy.
Breakfast was lovely and the host made us feel comfortable, was attentative without being intrusive.
All in all a lovely stay. We recommend it if you like animals.”

“A very lovely pub in a picturesque village. Spacious rooms, friendly staff, very good food and a broad selection of wines and beers. I arrived just in time for the last dinner order, thankfully. Breakfast was included in my stay and was also very nice. The pub is very homely, warmly lit and has a classic village inn feel. The bathroom in my room could probably benefit from a slight cosmetic improvement but that is a minor point on what was overall a pleasant but brief stay.”

We ate in the pub in the evening. The menu choice was good, prices reasonable and the food was excellent. We had our breakfast served outside in the garden and, again, this was tasty, hot and really enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended.”

The rooms (or the room we had) had a somewhat poorer standard than the common areas. But net and clean and I had the best night sleep at Manor House during my vacation.
