“There was a great arrival welcome feature of free wine and beverages. My room had plenty of local welcome snacks plus beer, whiskey complimentary. Onsen was beautiful indoors and out. Keiko dinner had plenty of options and was both traditional and dynamic. Service was extremely gracious and after dinner dessert buffet in the lounge was really impressive. ”

“Great hotel right at Lake Biwa. The included dinner and breakfast were amazing even for Japan standards (but the restaurant staff doesnt speak any English so have google translate ready... they were still friendly and did their best to understand). Its also quite far away from the station so be sure to use the free shuttle. We had the traditional room with tatami and futons which was neat, spacious and had a great view of the lake.”
