"Unique, eclectic boutique hotel. Possibly not for you if you find taxidermy uncomfortable or really love level floors! This is an old building with lots of personality. Very helpful and accommodating staff but not obvious where they are so I, and other guests, were often wandering around looking a bit lost. Overall the hotel is a little tired and we struggled to get a hot shower but our room was gorgeous with a huge balcony which was lovely. Breakfast was delicious but again it wasn’t really...

"We stayed here due to a wedding at nearby Bruisyard. It was a lovely stay and I couldn’t fault it, a beautiful setting full of nature and a very well preserved property. Liz was very accommodating allowing us to drop our luggage and car off earlier than check in; we also came down to a very very nice breakfast with something for everyone. "

"Acorn Lodge was a great place for us to stay to visit a friend in Aldeburgh, eat out at The Lighthouse and The Regatta and to enjoy a day full of companionable relaxation in the countryside. My friend has mobility issues and the Lodge proved to be excellent accommodation for her need. Pristine facilities, thorough cleanliness and thoughtful little extras made this stay memorable for us."
