Although the host did not live on site he called in and was very friendly and informative.
The room was small but it was classed as a cabin, no issues with it at all as we really only used it as a base.

The family that run the hotel are so lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I ate in the restaurant, which was lovely, overlooking the sea and pier and the food was absolutely amazing. It is 5 minutes to the pier and restaurants and other bars. I totally recommend this place. And will definitely stay here again.

Room was lovely, very clean and well maintained; the bed was comfortable and we had a great balcony (again, with views over the Strait). The shower was ok, just about warm enough. The staff were friendly and the service was very good (special mention to Nathan, whether first thing at breakfast or serving us at the bar, unfailingly polite and on the ball).
