Staying at the Wild Lotus Camp was such a cool experience! Right on the beach with INCREDIBLE sunsets each night, the room was comfortable and the owners were SO nice. It felt very safe, and while the beach could be crowded during the day, it completely empties out at night for a private experience. Hearing the ocean from the tent was lovely. It is a little hot during the day - it's a tent!
I recommend renting a car if you're staying here so you can get around to downtown and restaurants - cabs were a little hard to manage after 5pm in and out of Valley Church beach. My partner and I wanted to do an all inclusive for the whole time, but it was so expensive! We stayed here and it made the trip a perfect mix of fun, and it saved us a lot of money. I really recommend staying here for a few days to subsidize the cost - do all your tours of the island and snorkeling these days, and come back to your private quiet tent, save hundred of dollars on your Antigua trip.
The nest restaurant was great too!
