We were prepaid customers with a reserved room. Manager demanded a $ 100 deposit for "incidentals and damages." Nothing unusual...until, I gave him my ID and credit card. He proceeded to hand copy the personal information to a small piece of scratch paper rather than process my card. I questioned what he was doing and said if I did not like him doing so I could hand him $ 100 cash. I asked him to process the card. "We can't do that and then later refund your deposit, so pay us in cash... I do not trust you!" He was harvesting all my personal and credit card information and then saying that he did not trust me! I forked over the cash - but what if I had not had that much cash with me??? Hang on to your personal information if you stay at this Rodeway Inn. And don't expect the promised breakfast to be out on time in the morning. They don't set things out until 6:15 or 6:20. Manager Mike was very unprofessional about the whole process. I was pleasantly surprised to actually get my cash deposit back after a 10 minute wait at checkout.
