The hotel was nice and had a good vibe. Downtown LA suffers from little pedestrian traffic, empty storefronts, and a lot of homeless people. I think the hotel has seen a decline is people.

Was not bad but been to hostels that were much better. Mattress not that comfy, pillow flat, no top sheet. Stayed there because was taking a train in Union Station which is close. So location is great with many food choices to be had along with supermarket, pharmacies and shops. However would not stay there again.

Old world charm. An absolutely beautiful hotel. The roof top pool has amazing views and a fun atmosphere. Great vibes here along with attentive and friendly staff. There is a gift shop and a coffee bar in the lobby. I highly recommend this hotel.

Private rooms were nice although whole building has a musty smokey smell. Bed was comfortable, shower was great with awesome water pressure. Only real complaint is paper thin walls where he had to to listen to a couple break up for 6 hours.
