not a great experience
I was disappointed, after reading rave reviews. The hotel is desperately in need of upgrades. My room could be described as shabby. The furniture had clearly not been dusted in a while. SInce the ice machine was broken, I had to get it from the front desk. The continental breakfast was okay. The two employees with whom I dealt, the front desk attendant and a very accommodating young man who helped me to get into my room because my key card didn't work, couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. I was very surprised that a sign on the door in my room said that, due to COVID protocols, the room would not be cleaned, the beds re-made, the trash emptied, or towels replaced unless I made specific requests. Are we not over COVID at this point? The location was convenient to my travel plans, but I will not be recommending this hotel to others.
