Mostly good
We stayed in the Polaris cottage. It was clean and basic. It had an adequate kitchen equipped with dishes/utensils for two, a small cooktop, refidgerator, microwave, toaster, etc. This was as expected.
However, there was no closet, nor clothes hangers. There were 4 coat hooks on the wall near the sliding entry door. The cottage was dated, but clean, and worked for us. We found it odd that there was no "service" offered while we were there for three days, though.
The location was excellent. It was a short walk from the local Tekapo restaurants and shops.
The contact phone numbers for checkin were non-working numbers. With the help of hotels.com, we were finally able to get checkin instructions. Please note, this is a self-ckeckin property. There is no onsite management on the property.
However, once the initial contact was made by phone, the property management was very good.
