We stayed here for a full week. Welcome was warm, the buffet-style food was very nice and varied. The staff was calm, helpful and friendly. Greek relaxedness at its best. Only there for one full day but a great stay! All the staff were very friendly and helpful, they arranged a taxi for us for our early flight as well as putting together a breakfast for us to take to the airport! The room was lovely and comfortable, breakfast had great options, and the pool area is lovely with a great chilled atmosphere and you could order drinks which they would bring to your sun lounger which were lovely - we loved the pool so much we ended up spending our day in Corfu there instead of the beach! Only wish we were staying longer!

Absolutely loved this hotel. We had a bungalow with a private pool. Every detail of this hotel is just lovely. The food buffet is excellent and we chose to have dinner there most nights because it was simply better than the restaurants in the area. The pool is really and they have fun live music on the weekend. We did not go to the beach that was near the hotel as there are nicer ones on other parts of the island but it was very convenient when we wanted to do a boat trip. Big recommend for this amazing hotel!

Very nice quiet hotel, the pool is great and very relaxed. Would say it’s aimed more at adults or families with older kids. We had a family bungalow with a private pool, which was great. Very spacious and modern. Service was very good and staff were very helpful. We had the full board option and the food was good, although became a little repetitive after a few days, although it is a small hotel, so difficult to provide too many options. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is spotlessly clean and tidy. Staff were amazingly friendly and attentive. We were well looked after. Hotel is near a supermarket, bus stop and the village which has cash points. We were half board and there was a good selection for vegetarians. The only thing we didn’t like was all the inflatables in the pool. Personally for us, a hotel that doesn’t have young children is nicer if you can relax or swim in the pool rather than be splashed and bashed into. Otherwise, we loved it here and would recommend it. The property is really high quality, especially compared to others in the Gouvia area. It feels luxurious. The rooms were clean and nice. I felt they could use a bit more storage however, as we mainly had to live out of our suitcases (an extra set of drawers would have been really useful, and there weren’t many hangers). The bed was also very firm and not especially comfortable - but I’ve found this to be the case across Corfu so not specific to this hotel. The staff were very kind, accommodating, knowledgeable and left us to it, they weren’t too in our faces which I appreciated. The check-in and check-out processes were very calm. The dining in the hotel was £35pp per night I believe - which is a little expensive considering there is a lot of dining in the area for a much cheaper price. I would definitely recommend this hotel though.

Great find (if I say so myself) 5 night stay Location is very good for getting around the island The hotel has everything you would need(especially for us) The clientele was slightly on the older side during our stay, we are 62/52! Pool, clean, decor and the room was spacious. We were in room 224, we were directly above the hotel entrance and overlooking the car park we did have a clear view of the marina. There was no noise from below. The pool bar is open from 11am, there were plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The bar did get busy over the lunch period. The prices are competitive plus there is a discount period in the late afternoon Breakfast was plenty full and of a good quality, if you are early enough the bread is still warm! All the staff was so helpful We were only on a B&B basis so didn’t eat in the evening, but it did smell good and the menu was varied Gouvia is a little rundown but there are plenty of bars/eating places to suit all. Corfu town is only 10/12 minutes away by car, where it has a very cosmopolitan feel The Art Hotel Debono is a great base, but don’t tell everyone
