A Gem in the Pearl
From the greeting we received on arrival to our departure, the staff of the hotel were friendly and professional. The hotel itself is very quiet and pleasant while clean and very well cared for. The public spaces are large and comfortable, and great for families or large groups. Our suite was designed to provide comfort and was, as expected, very clean and well maintained. Everything is meant to give the guests a first class feel. This is a super choice for any traveler, young or old and the Pearl district is intriguing and great for exploring. All the staff deserve shout outs, Wanda, Lily, Morgan, Vanessa, Roy, Clark and even the valet guy who greeted us.

For the most part my family enjoyed the stay at this facility. Our biggest complaint is with the valet services. On the first day 8 NOV, we parked around the corner of the hotel due to how full the valet part of the street was. I promptly let the valet gentleman know that was the case. My main concern was the risk of having my car towed if in spot where parking expired for too long. I came back down about an hour or hour and a half later and the vehicle hadn’t moved. I reminded a new older gentleman where my car was and he moved in quickly. The next day 9 NOV, we let Natasha and Eric know about our small frustrations. I hadn’t received a text to call for my car yet so Natasha was able to relay the message. I met eric and then he sent the claims text. We had been in and out that day and still was unable to call for the call. Later that evening I think one of the younger valets was able to check in the car so that it could be called. The last day (today) was the only time I was able to call for the call through the app. Other than this small issue, our stay was awesome. All of the staff (front desk, staff, bar, breakfast, housekeeping) were nice and easy to work with. Shout out to Natasha for listening to our complaint on Saturday and the kitchen staff during breakfast for being so nice and giving gifts to the kids.

The property was very nice and well maintained. I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was great with lots of choices. The beds were comfortable and our room had a full size kitchen. There were some sketchy people around the hotel but they seem to be all around the downtown area. You just have to be smart and aware of your surroundings like in any urban setting. The hotel had excellent security with a person at the front desk at all times so I never felt unsafe.
