We spent one night here after 18 days around Italy. We were flying home from Naples airport, and this was close. The suite itself was very nice. BUT...it was supposed to be unlocked with the key inside and it wasn't. There are four doors to go thru. Street, tiny lift, entrance to suites, and door to room. The person on WhatsApp was trying to help, but it didn't work, (a slight language barrier?). After about 15 minutes of me sweating in the little "lobby," his boss came to let me in. He said the housekeeper forgot to leave it unlocked with the key inside. Well someone should check that before arrivals! Also, there was no shampoo in the bottle on the wall of the nice shower.
This isn't the property's fault at all, but parking is impossible in this area. We had an early flight, and planned to drop the luggage, and return our rental car to the airport, and taxi back to apartment. But since there's no parking at all, it was tough to do that, especially with the 3' by 3' lift. Great view from the place, though the deck floors could use a rinse off. Don't go out in barefeet or socks. And you can hear street noise at night, even over my sound machine. Great a/c, and our first tv with streaming services since we arrived in Italy. A nice touch.
I'm glad we decided not to visit Naples in general. It didn't feel very safe, though we didn't have any incidents.
There's an excellent seafood restaurant down the main street - A figlio d'o Marenaro.
