It gets a five star rating for a budget hotel. The place is clean and it’s in a great gated community that used to be exclusive for the banana company employees. I loved walking around the neighborhood and looking at the old “company” houses, some in better shape than others, but all charming.
I stayed in one of the two-bedroom apartments, and it was clean and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen and the basic utensils for cooking and serving. Because it is a budget hotel, and the property is an old “company” property, don’t expect it to look like a million bucks, but if you are a business traveler or a tourist on a tight budget, this place is pretty much perfect as a hub.
I had a car with me, so I don’t know how expensive the right shares are from this hotel to destinations in the cities around it, but you can go to many different places from this hotel. It also has a supermarket, drugstore, gas station, restaurants, and pretty much anything you need right outside the gated community.
