Too light in the room to sleep at night.
Was a great stay, only problem was at night when the outside back sliding door was on all night, the room was to lit up to sleep. When we told the receptionist about the light being to bright at night, she said oh there’s a switch outside to turn it off.

Its time for a little TLC
This establishment was average at best. Not meaning to make it sound bad, they could just make some well needed upgrades. The pool was nice...but cold. Nobody wanted to get in. Theres no hot tub (very easy to install). The breakfast was not very tasty, like other hotels have been. Its like they purchased 2 levels down from other hotel chains. The clenliness was nice except my white socks turned pretty black with me walking on my room floor. My sons feet were black within a few minutes also. The bed was pretty comfy but it looked like the place has been painted over about 20 times without redoing the sheetrock and it still has popcorn on their ceilings. Thats been gone for over 20 years in the building practices now. But overall a "decent" place to stay for the money (but I did get a little discount going through hotels . com

Enkelt hotell med brister
Enkelt hotell som trots att det kostade $200/natt har flera brister; personalen i receptionen som vi träffade var alla nya och ohjälpsamma, korten till rummet slutade fungera båda dagarna vi bodde där och hela stället är otroligt lyhört och med starka lampor utanför fönsterna som inte går att blockera på nätterna. Det positiva var att det ligger ca 30 min promenad från Busch Gardens, frukosten var helt okej och poolområdet såg fint ut även om det var för kallt för oss att använda. Det fanns tre tvättmaskiner som kostade $2.50 per tvätt. Gymmet såg okej ut men används tyvärr som förråd så gick ej att nyttja.

For the area and price it’s a good hotel
This hotel does have potential to be a great place but there is no food on site or bar thry have a place for it but empty. The pool area and game area are nice pool not heated so only good in summer and thry had a great sitting area outside with heaters but they never turned them on with it being mainly outdoor space for people to get out of there rooms they should entertain making it comfy and inviting. The landscape is beautiful and tropical the rooms are older but remodeled the cleanliness of rooms is just ok walking in mirrors were dirty, dust on walls and beds. Beds are small but not bad. Hope you get quite people next to you we were not so lucky all night music and yelling.

Check in
Check in was not smooth. Having a confirmed reservation for several weeks, clerk had to find a room. then I had to make three trips to check in desk before getting correct entry cards. Clerk was hard to understand when speaking.

Not worth the cheap stay you wont be able to sleep
Checking in she asked us if we could want to upgrade to a king bed we said no we will stick to two queen beds. We get our keys and the women tells us how to go around to get to our room. We leave the lobby get into our car to go where she told us to go. We park and unload, turns out all the gates are locked and the only way to get to our room is to go through the lobby which she never said. We load the car up again and go around to the lobby to walk to the other side of the hotel to our room. We finally get to our room and behold we have just a king bed. It was already late and we drove a long time so my wife said that our daughter can sleep on the pull out couch. We get settled and are about to take showers and it turns out there was only one towel. So I went back to the lobby and ask for towels. I was told that it would be ten minutes before she could grab towels for us. I said no problem went out to my car and came back. Waited almost 20 mins then she returned with towels and I wasn’t the only guest waiting for towels either. If you want a quiet hotel this isn’t the place for you. They are playing music in the common area in the middle of the hotel all night so you will heard it all night. They also have a light outside of the slider that’s in the room that will not turnoff all night that will make your room very bright all night. Now I know why the deal was so cheap. Jokes on me n my family I guess. Oh and the stay was 10 dollars more than they said it was suppose to be.

Loved this place.it was beautiful and the staff was fabulous, so helpful to a couple of old people , the grounds are adorable, the pool setting is fantastic.sorry we only stayed one night. And the price was was an unexpected bonus,also great breakfast.

Good hotel, issue with shower
The hotel was clean and the hotel staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The downside was that our shower was terrible. It had almost no water pressure and the first night the water in the shower literally took nearly 5 minutes to get warm (not hot). The water in the bathroom sink never even got warm the entire time we were there. I informed the staff and they seem to have fixed the hot water issue in the shower because we were able to get hot water the 2nd day. However, the water pressure remained incredibly low. It is a good hotel for a Tampa stay, but some maintenance may be needed.

It was a pleasant stay. The only complaint is that we really didn't get our bed made or change sheets the whole 7 days there. Don't know or recall if that was something that needed to be asked for or if they were suppose to just do it. It was cold when we were there in jan so we didn't get to utilize the pool. the restaurant and gym was under construction as well so we didn't get to use that either. Otherwise it was good. Good location for us. It's right next to busch gardens and it was about 20-30 minutes everywhere we needed to go so location was great. We'll definitely stay there again.
