Horrible customer experience
I have never experienced a worse customer experience than here. From the beginning it just seemed very sketchy. We had to fill out a ton of online "paperwork", share our credit card information, passport etc. several times. We talked to two different staff members on the phone, who confirmed that everything was ready for us to check in. Once we arrived, after driving 7 hours with 4 kids, we were ready for an easy check in as promised, but ended up spending 2 hours on this process, because they claimed they hadn't received proper payment, even thoug we could see in our bank, that the money was payed. We had to pay the total amount of our stay twice, to get access to the house, with NO guarantee that we would get our money back. The staff did not care, and they did not try to find a solution to the problem. We were offered no form of compensation at all (wait, the kids got a soda each while they had to wait two hours to get into the house), and when we asked about a compensation the request was smoothly ignored. The aircondtion did not work at all on the first floor, and when we asked it to be fixed, we got a standard reply back, that someone fixed it, which they did not. The refrigerator kept dripping a lot of water, so my kids slipped several times and hurt themselves, which we also mentitoned, but they didn't bother to do anything about that. That said, the house and the facilities are overall ok, but the lack of service is such a huge minus!
