This was my first stay in this hotel even though I am a regular for their restaurant and rooftop bar. This time I wanted to have the whole experience over Valentine's Day Weekend. Before my arrival, I called repeatedly to find out any recent changes. My calls were never answered. On my arrival, I was disappointed to find out that neither the restaurant nor the roof top was operating any longer. Had I known this, I would not have booked the hotel, but it was too late. In addition, the staff, who helped me check in was acting like a robot. She would not even look up once but just preferred to ask her questions to complete the check-in. I felt like I was at a foreign airport being questioned by an immigration officer.
Even though I am an Amex Platinum cardholder, I was not offered any upgrades, or anything out of courtesy.
Finally, we asked for our room to be made when we left the room only to find out that nothing was done. We had to use the towels from the day before.
I had a suite, not a regular room and I would have expected better service. I am naturally very disappointed and would not stay in this hotel again.
