Le Mirage is an Urban Oasis
I would have never imagined that our stay in the bustling Bayswater area could be so quiet. The staff at 55 by Le Mirage placed us in a courtyard room on the first floor. The double room was cozy and designed well with a small entry area, another area with a desk, and a really big bathroom. Four different USB charging areas (8 ports), which was more than what two people needed. The breakfast was cold continental, with plenty of options and fruits, breads, and cereals. Great location, tastefully done, and a healthy breakfast to start your London day.

Excellent location and customer care
What a wonderful stay! Location: so convenient, walking distance to Hyde Park, two tube stations and lots of shops, cafe and restaurants. Customer care: staff are all so friendly and caring. Mentioned it's part of hubby's birthday celebration. They prepared balloons, towel folded cake and a big Happy birthday bear balloon for him. We are so touched! Room: very clean and so quite in the evening. The family room is spacious, a queen bed, a double bed and a pull-out sofa bed. It comes handy when you have children that don't want to share beds with each other. Overall: 10 out of 10!

Lovely welcome, very nice room, one of the nicest I’ve stayed at in London. It’s a quiet road but was still quite noisy outside due to room on road side, but it was a busy Saturday night so not their fault. My earplugs and eye mask blocked it all put in a very comfy bed. Great location

Overall, would say that the hotel is more of a 3.5 star property but that being said, if you are paying a reasonable rate, you will have a very comfortable stay. Pros: -Service: the hotel staff was incredibly kind and helpful -Cleanliness: room was very clean and equipped with all the essentials -Convenient location -Free all-day coffee and water in the dining room Cons: -No bathrobe (if you're a traveler who loves this) -I was given a lower ground room that was under the dining room... and in turn, woke up to footsteps starting at 6am - if you're a sensitive sleeper, make sure you're not in LG2!

The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood. The Bayswater subway station is just a few minutes walk away. There are restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby. The hotel itself is very well-kept. Our room was tastefully decorated, clean, and had a large modern bathroom. The hotel staff were all exceptionally friendly, accommodating, and interested in the guests. There were two of us—it was a mother-daughter trip—and we felt safe as women even in the darkness of the evening in this area.

this property is a fantastic find. we moved out of previous booking early as the previous room was so small. the room at 55 was roomy, clean and had a fantastic bathroom. the facilities were excellent. the lift worked well. the staff were welcoming and attentive. the local shopping and restaurants are excellent. we will rebook here next time we are in london
