The employees were very nice and welcoming when checking in. The room itself was a bottom floor parking lot facing room. The room had a very musty odor like mold and cigarettes, there was only one main light near the window, the door had cracks around the sides and we were worried about bugs and other wildlife coming in (some flies or small bugs did), the baseboard behind the door was falling off and showed concerning wall damage of some sort, the chair was very stained, the lamp at the bed didn’t work and only one of the outlets worked. Personally, I didn’t really want to go make a fuss about it, have them switch our rooms or something because I didn’t think they would have anything better, but a nicer second room wouldn’t make up for having a room like what this room was. Just needed a place to sleep after going to Universal Halloween Horror Nights, we didn’t spend very much time in the room.
Despite these issues, the staff members were very kind and welcoming, and the level of cleanliness was appreciated, minus the chair. We didn’t eat the breakfast but it was offered, only a muffin and one other thing I can’t remember.
Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again, and wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending it.
