I did love my stay in Martinique, but I was personally unhappy of the hotel and the way the personel handled my problems:
1- after arrived i was asked to pay additional Taxes, these were not indicated in the contract with EXPEDIA
2-hotel personel spoke poor english and ofter cut coversations saying that they only spoke french. In general i didnt find a warm welcome, but on the contrary every request was treated with difficulties.
3-i was there for more than 1 week, internet (included in the room cost) had a failoure after 1 day and it was not fixed for about 9 days. Yes, for all my stay they didnt manage to fix the connection. No compensation was gived and the personal was not able to support (me) with the problems caused by this issue.
4-using internet work work, i needed connection. I asked to use the phone instead to call abroad, but even in this case NONE was able to say what was the cost per minute for a phone call abroad. I was forced to leave cash money BEFORE calling ignoring the actual cost charged by the hotel. Everyone knows that hotels chanrges significant prices for phonecalls, but also in this case.. no support given.(cost of the 1 phone call was 60EURO after all)
5-no support was given to find an alternative interent point...
6-i asked information to perform lesson for diving.. also in this case the hotel provided little and poor support for it.
7-i had an URGENT message to my room, also in this case the perosal told me AFTER 13 HOURS of the message.NO COMMENT
