September 2025:
While the Atlantis complex is amazing, from the reception areas to the bars, the multiple pool areas to the shopping and casino, the standard rooms, though clean and spacious are just a 4 star, not in keeping with the rest of the hotel.
It's also pricy ! Breakfast $40, Lunch $80, and dinner $150 per person without drinks, but if you're going to Atlantis then that shouldn't worry you !
There are very few off-sight dinning / shopping options, so you're kind of tied to Atlantis for everything. Taxi's are not cheap (Airport to Atlantis is $50, but be sure to confirm the price before you get in the taxi)
Paradise Island is part of the Nassau Island, and there is nothing really to see outside of the Distillery. There are plenty of excursions and trips, that can be booked on sight, including swimming with Dolphins etc and boat trips. These, again are expensive, and you'll be roped into buying expensive photo packages after your trip.
Also, check if there are any events or conventions on. We found large areas were only accessible to convention attendees, including most of the bars and restaurants.
All in all this place is truly beautiful. Try for a pool / beach view room. You won't be disappointed.
We've ticked it off the list, but are unlikely to return.
