You have got to be kidding me!!! I have never ever
Holy moly!
In all my many many years have I had something like this happen. Made a reservation on Hotels.com since we were traveling. Made the reservation for an accessible room. My husband is handicapped and unable to walk or stand for long periods of time.
When we arrived I asked if they have a room on the ground floor. NO! You booked through a third party billing, You booked a king size room accessible, it’s on the second floor all the way at the end!!! Oh oops, do you anything on the first floor? NO!!! You booked through a third party, you get it?? Had you booked through US, you would be able to CHANGE! When I asked for her not to yell at me I was only asking a question, she was so angry, I asked for the manager. Manager is in MEXICO , I’m the only one here.
I should have left.
Once again the diatribe regarding third party billing and OH my GOD you have a DOG that’s an extra $50 NON Refundable! At this point she’s shaking and crying. I told her I do not appreciate her yelling at me , and she came back at me , I HAVE THE RIGHT to REFUSE SERVICE to you!!! I said I know, but I don’t know where this is coming from…….she started to ball. I couldn’t help but walk around the counter and hug her long and hard. Having a bad day. Happens to us all.
I did not sleep, I am sore like I went thru the meat ringer. My husband was shocked and appalled. I needed to rest me head. Breakfast was disgusting it was the icing on the cake. Out of maybe 450 hotel stays in the USA
