Pros:the night security, Tori. She was lovely and helpful and gave us our room key when we checked in late. She toured us around and made sure we were comfortable and happy at check in. The second and only other pro is the breakfast that is served hot and delicious. The other staff are very inattentive and do not really want to help you. We stayed for 3 nights and we were told to put our “needs service” door hanger on the knob if we wanted our room freshened. On the 2nd morning of our stay, we put our “needs service” door hanger out and left by 10:00am and didn’t return back until 4:00pm. The room had not been touched. We had no towels, no soap. We ran into Brian and asked if service was still coming and he said that they had left for the day. We asked why our room wasn’t cleaned and he said, “I don’t know, they must have missed it.” How do you miss an entire room? He offered no remedy, no apology, just “I’ll get you towels”. We want the services we are paying for not just towels. The online reviews were mostly positive, and not representative of the stay we had. The area is sketchy, the security guard had an altercation with a homeless man outside our window in the pool area on our second night. We did not feel safe. Also the room was in disrepair. The bath faucet only trickled and everything was rusty, dirty and dilapidated. The ceiling had a mushroom growing
Out of the ceiling over the bed.
