The Wharf Inn was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, the energy of being right in the middle of the Wharf Strip made the whole experience unforgettable. You can literally hear and feel the excitement around you, which makes it so cool. Everything is within walking distance, so getting to restaurants, shops, and attractions is incredibly easy. One of the best parts is that the Big Bus stop is right there, making it super convenient to explore even more of the city without any hassle. If you want location, convenience, and a fun atmosphere, this is the perfect place to stay!

The hotel was in older condition but felt secure, even tho in a high traffic tourist area. Location made up for everything - we walked to Fisherman’s Wharf, the sea lions and restaurants, Ferris wheel, and Boudin Bakery and cafe.

Location is the best attribute of the hotel. I will say it is clean. The wallpaper is peeling, the wall trim is in shambles, and it is just not well kept up. There is no air conditioning bit there was a ceiling fan as well as a portable fan in the room. Street noise was terrible in the early morning but we were in a street facing room.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. They stored our luggage for us before check in at no charge.
If you are picky about hotels, skip this one. If you're looking for a place for a couple nights with convenient location, and decent price- this one works.

Wharf Inn made a very busy professional week easy, thanks to staff. Easy check in process, super clean room, and very good wi-fi for my early morning business Zoom calls. Just two blocks away is a Trader Joes and starbucks. And I was the only person to take a cable car to my conference downtown!
