Run away from this hotel

We arrived an hour early but room was available so we thought. One towel and washcloth in room for a two day stay and 2 adults, no tissues, no iron and ironing board had no cover, no soap in room. Coffee pot in room had no filter, coffee pot in lobby out of order! Toilet plugged up so I had to get plumber and fit it myself. Breakfast consisted of waffles, no butter, cereal raisin brand and an apple, nothing else! Next morning same menu but no forks so we ate with our fingers and went to wash our hands and no paper towels, juice machine out of order both days. Broken down car parked in the handicap parking space and part of fence knocked over, please do not stay at this hotel till something is done about all the problems.

First time in Memphis........

The policies of the hotel was extremely inconvenient. $50.00(incidental up front fee), $75.00(pet fee: NON-REFUNDABLE) Only waffles and cereal as breakfast items. Neither of which help a person with diabetes 🙄. Overall, the stay was mediocre

Never staying here again

They did not have towels available. Breakfast was not available the first morning. The second morning still no towels and no coffee or waffles, just cereal and juice. The ironing board was broke and the iron had a short in it. You could smell marijuana throughout the halllways.

Night at the Quality Inn

The room was nice and comfortable. The television only one so one channel. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The hotel was supposed to have a complimentary breakfast but the only thing available was juice.

Just don't stay here.

Ok where do I start? Checked in, double queen room, non smoking. Took 15 mins to check in because the employee was on the phone with a friend. Also, I chose this property mainly because it shows an indoor pool on hotels.com, wouldn't you know it, the pool is closed. Not the first time this happened. Get the key. unload, go in the room and smells like someone ripped darts until they left. But I can deal and get spray or something. Go to put stuff in the fridge and it doesn't work. So they give us the room across the hall. Which the door wasn't even shut all the way. Go in smells ok and the fridge works. turn the lights on over the bed and notice the night stand looks wet, looking closer noticed it was baby oil under the glass. Whatever at this point.I check out everything around the room and notice a baby oil bottle under the sink, noticed something in the floor, it was a pair of lashes and hair.check the bathroom, the floor hasn't been swept and 1 towel.check beds, short story the beds were never changed. Just re made. Floor wasn't vacd. Go to the desk, explain and get handed a notebook to write all this down. So I get sheets, but they only had kings. And no comforters. Because the laundry wasn't done. Go to change sheets, pics will tell the rest. Yes this is a cheaper hotel. And in decent shape. And I'm not that picky, I've slept in way worse. But whoever runs it should stop. almost forgot the remote had brown sticky stuff on it. This is a bad look for choice brands. 👎👎

Try somewhere else

From the minute, we arrived it took us a while to check in after booking online. Hotel staff was very nice since it was only her the hotel smelled like a pack of cigarettes and when we got to the room all the way until we left, we smelled the room smelled everything we have smelled like cigarettes. No soap or shampoo in the room and from the reviews I seen looks like a reoccurring problem. Only one towel for two guess ,No soap or shampoo in the room and from the reviews I seen looks like a reoccurring problem. Only one towel for two gas. Door did not lock TV looked like it was going to come down and heating cooling unit smell like cigarettes was charged a deposit. Not sure why I’ve stayed in other hotels around the area and had a better experience.

The stay was great. The night desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Professional and knowledgeable. No free gift for Choice members as they were out. So i will take the 200 points.I love the gated parking lot and security on premises. Overall a good Choice hotel with decent price on a Weekend.

Torture for family and kids

We got room allotted on 2nd floor. The lift, hallway had unbearable smell of Cigarette (or weed)!! Initially room was fine, but with kids moving in-and-out of the room, slowly the same smell filled the room also. The room did not have handwash soap, body wash, as hotel did not receive their supply (never heard such excuse)!! We felt unsafe in dining area for families, as there were other guests having breakfast with Cigarettes and/or weed in there hands!! Also, the window in the dining area had a bullet mark/hole in the glass (kids were very scared having breakfast).

Disgusting!

This hotel is disgusting to say the least. I don’t know much about the location but the reviews and pictures in the website are very misleading! Do not visit this location by any means. I knew better when we pulled in the parking lot. Then they tried to offer me another room! Are you kidding me!

I really loved this hotel. The beds were super comfortable the room was clean, staff was really nice and the hotel is gated. I felt safe. The price was reasonable. I was here with my business staff and they all loved their stay. Thank you to the staff for being so nice and providing a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back.

I can see why this is a two star hotel. When I checked in their computer system didn’t accept my credit card. The ATM didn’t work either so I had to go out of my way to go to a local bank so they could have their deposit. The first room I checked into had garbage on the floor, bed wasn’t made etc. so they put me in another room. The second room they put me into was better except the refrigerator wasn’t working and There wasn’t no temperature setting and no room phone. I had them put me into a different room or a third room. The third room the bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke and the door wasn’t locking to which I couldn’t close the door as The door lock was broke. I could just push it open which could’ve been a safety hazard, and not to mention, anybody could just walked into the room by pushing the door open and vandalized and or stole my personal belongings if one wanted too. The room’s phone also didn’t work. After Being moved around the fourth room was better. Hotel Maintenance & staff better get their act together. Shelby county/Memphis building inspector should be aware of this hotel.
