Booked a twin room for 2 nights for myself and my daughter who had to visit a local clinic. Upon arrival the outside of the hotel looked great and very promising. Sadly the room was a massive let down. I cannot emphasise enough how disgusted we were with the condition of the room, massive amount of mould in the bathroom, to wall against one of the beds had plaster peeling off and falling on the bed. There was construction work during the day which was not mentioned and made any rest during the day impossible. Regarding the mould I am very sorry but you can buy a mould remover spray for a couple of pounds so no justification to let the room in that state; The same goes for the plaster crumbling, it does not take much to fix this. On top of room condition I ended up with bites after one night sleep which I am certain comes from the bedding. After all that we ended up leaving a day early disgusted by the lack of basic standard and cleanliness. I emailed the hotel a day later to explain but had no apology whatsoever and definitely no refund for at least the one night that we left early. This is not the standard you would expect for a hotel advertised as 3 star and charging over £80 per night plus £10 parking. What a disgrace.
