Best for the bucks
The hotel is good enough for price. The position is OK: in the middle of upper side (it can be reached by walk) where most of the life is concentrated and not far from the south of San Miguel (while a little longer than the north part, it can be reached by walking as well).
The pool is amazing, and the food is OK (I can say it's average, however if you're in Mexico you really want to taste their real food instead of spending your time in a hotel.. except if you're in hurry or too tired after a dive).
Room daily cleaning is a little disappointing: they managed to not supply the right number of towels for 11 days of the 12 we staid there (missing shower towels and such), so I had to call the reception every time.
It has its own scuba dive op (Dive Paradise) that is the biggest of the island, I used them and it's fine.
There isn't really anything better for the price: other cheaper hotels offers less or are far from the center of the city; and the hotel (mostly 5 stars resorts) that offers more, are much more expensive (almost the double).
I would recommend it!
