I had two weeks Christmas vacation. This is the only bad experience in lodging.
First of all we arrived at about 1pm in Torun, then I only get one instruction email, while I was waiting for lunch, I was communicating with the owner/ customer service of the instructions. As normally you should get two set of pass code, one for the apartment door. As she said the audio on the phone is not good, she asked me to text her. After I text her, she sent a six digit PIN code. She asked me if I get in. So I left my husband and children in the restaurant waiting and I walked 10 mins to the apartment to try, but by about 2pm I still couldn’t get in. I asked her which PIN code is this for. She sent me a screen shot that circle the check in time is 4:00pm.
Come on, this is not a hotel. And it is cold winter, if that’s the first thing why do you first ask me if I can get in. You can say I will send you the instructions by 3:30 or something like that. Then she said she is I. Meeting, she asked again my name and I asked if I can check in early, then there is no reply at all. I went back to the restaurant, my foods are completely cold.
I have to take my family to a cafe to warm up, we spend $90 for waiting for a room costed less than $80.
Until 4:30pm, I pinged her again to ask for instructions, still nothing. I contacted Expedia, the agent there said they will reach out to her, two mins later, she sends the instructions,finally we got in the apartment by 5pm. The wifi code was wrong
