We had a very smooth stay at Levely Lodge. Jean Claude picked us up at the airport for the long and scenic drive across the mountains to the village. The lodge has a kitchen, bathroom, veranda with couches and chairs, air conditioning in the room, parking, and we were collected every morning for a small but delicious breakfast at the sister pension. They arranged tours, a rental car, and gave lots of support. Our bonus was that there weren’t any other guests in the house so it was like your own vacation home! There are mosquitoes but with the air conditioning we were fine. Where we were eaten alive was at Anaho Bay beach. It’s six days later and I’m still scratching! The island is beautiful however and worth the mosquito bites to hike to the beautiful beach!
