While not luxury in any sense of the word, this basic budget apartment has pluses and minuses. While I loved the neighborhood, I'm not sure I would recommend or stay at this apartment again.
Pros:
Definitely the location, steps to the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, and V&A Museum, as well as many shops, restaurants, and excellent transportation. The stove, oven, refrigerator, and shower worked well (although there was no bath mat, and the shower door was half missing).
Cons:
Steep sets of stairs to access the flat (two small elevators are oddly positioned to not actually help all that much. The front door is also left open day long because of the restaurant on the first floor. But it makes it feel slightly insecure, as there was only one functional lock on the flat's door. The apartment was also very loud at night from the traffic on Cromwell Road, and the bedroom window not being able to fully close. I also would have appreciated a colander, higher quality sharp knives, a lid on the rubbish bin, and cups in better condition.
