More positives than negatives, but overall okay

Property was okay; convenient to food, shopping and Hocking Hills State Park, which was the purpose for our trip. Room was relatively clean, but had to ask for towels, soap, tissue after arrival due to minimal items provided. Continental breakfast was sparse but fine; definite drop-off in cleanliness between first and second days of stay. Overall, would probably stay here again.

Great place. Wrong room. Disappointed

I’ve stayed here before. And selected to have the same room as I did last time. This was an important and only reason to stay here. I paid upfront. I did not get the same room. When I went to speak to front desk. She really didn’t know how to help. I showed her all my itinerary. She did move us to the “executive suite” that I was supposed to have. After 3 hours of this. We get to the other room. Still not the same room. Bigger. But the jacuzzi tub was a big down grade. We already wasted so much time and it was now to late to do any of the things we had planned for this 2 days trip we decided to go do what we could and speak with someone tomorrow before check out at 11am. In hopes it could be made right somehow. After finally talking with 2 other people I find out that we are not in even in the executive room that we was transferred to. But was also told that I would need to specify that to the hotel personally next time. That apparently the third party app I booked through and use often was to blame. Even though I selected the room to book again from a prior trip. 2 years previous. It took me this long to get back die to my health and unfortunately I don’t know if I’ll ever get their again. Very disappointed. This place is very well keeps and pleasant staff. But unfortunately the only reason we went even to this area was specifically for the room I had before.

Air conditioner wasn't working well and casing to it was falling apart smelled like mildew in the room no hot tub even tho pics of pool showed hot tub breakfast wasn't the best your door to our room kept jamming up ice machine wasn't working none of the vending machines wasn't working

What a DUMP!!!

The check in lady was less than personable. No ice machine. The room was a shamble. The drywall finishes were pealing everywhere. The toilet was loose from the floor. I don’t think the place had an elevator but we were told the back stairs would get us up to the second floor. The complimentary breakfast was as bad as the rest of the place. Couldn’t get out fast enough that morning!

It was still a pleasant stay.

The furniture was very shabby but the room was extra clean. The tv was difficult to use, the breakfast minimal but very clean and nicely organized. The pool was beautiful and the staff extra friendly and doing what they could with what they had to work with.

Not the best

The stay was just ok. The beds were not very comfortable. The bathroom door would not shut without lifting up on it, the mirrior on door kept coming apart. The sink faucet was coming off. Despite being in the description and photos there was not a hot tub in pool area. Breakfast was not very good either. Will not stay here again

Awful

When checking in the front desk was great. We opened our room both top dresser drawers were hanging off. The dust was horrible. I have attached pictures. Also our friends had planed to add another night and decided NO.

Ok but probably will not return

Looks wonderful on the outside and the pool area is very nice. Great location too! Pool was good temperature and clean! Beds were comfortable. There was mold on ceiling above the shower in our room and paint peeling off shower wall. They should have used a semi-gloss or better in showers to avoid these problems, especially with no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The bathroom door was also not hung right and we had to lift it up and over to open and close it. It’s been that way awhile because the edge of the door was worn from being forced. Staff was cordial but we did not encounter anyone we would consider friendly.

This day and age it would’ve been nice to have USB ports to help charge my electronics. Outlets were not convenient for what needed charged. Also walked in to the room and the toilet was running.

It was......a place to stay

The hotel was definitely older, which is fine. But it took me several minutes to get the room door open. The room had a weird smell, I still can't place it but it was weird. The AC also barely worked and I ended up opening the window, thankfully it could open, in order to sleep. I had the jetted tub and was going to use it but the cleanliness of the drain and jets was a little sketchy so I chose not to use it. Toilet was also quite a pain to flush, if it did at all. Decor was dated but that is whatever honestly. It just seemed old and musty. Bed was fine. Overall definitely not worth the $327 they charged for ONE night.

Horrible highway robbery

This place is basic and definitely not worth the price. It looks tired and dated from the minute you walk in. There is a fish tank with no fish! The carpet in the “lobby” is worn and faded. The front desk staff was pleasant. They gave us a room on the second floor then directed us to the stairs. No elevator! This was not mentioned on their website or on Hotels.com. We then requested a first floor room. None available. So my husband with stage IV cancer and I in my walking boot lugged our bags up the stairs. No offer to help from any of the three people at the desk. The room was tiny and dingy. Same worn carpet with visibly worn surfaces on all of the Formica surfaces. The chairs at the table had stains on them. The bathroom was a box, but it was clean. The toilet ran on and off our entire stay. The free breakfast of egg disks, runny oatmeal, stale bagels and biscuits, (no meat) and pre-packaged muffins was a joke. I saw no fruit either morning we were there. We had to get new key cards several times because they wouldn’t work on the outside door closest to our room or on our room door. Of course this meant multiple trips up and down the stairs. For $250+ per night I felt robbed. The area is very nice which is why I didn’t give one star.
