Big Disappointment
We always stay at Comfort Suites & are always very pleased, but this stay was different. The staff, especially Margarita at the desk, were professional & helpful, but the rooms are another story. The 1st room was missing the long cushion on the couch & the safety latch on the door had been ripped off & was hanging by a screw. Additionally, the hallway had a smell like someone had been smoking marijuana. We went back to the desk, Margarita apologized & assigned us another room. The other room was clean, but the furniture was dated & in need of an upgrade, especially the couch. Also, the faucet in the bathtub continually had a small stream of water flowing from it that could not be turned off. The tub also had permanent rust stains. Although hot water came from the sink, the tub, at best, had only very lukewarm water. Additionally, the smoke detector had been ripped from the wall & only wires were hanging where it should have been. One feature of Comfort Suites that we enjoy is the lemon water available in the lobby. The lemon water here had the strong taste of lemon rinds making it undrinkable. It seemed like they just kept adding water to old lemons & didn't refresh them. The breakfast buffet had most of the regular items one would expect, but the only bread product was sliced white bread, no bagels of muffins like the other Comfort Suites. In conclusion, I will stay at other Comfort Suites since I have been pleased with the others, but I would never stay at this one again.
