This hotel was ideally located for a funeral and to visit with family. When we arrived late on a Friday night, we were surprised that there was a group of ten children (roughly 10-12 years old) playing games, yelling, and throwing balls in the atrium of the hotel. Nobody asked them to stop being so loud despite it being 9:30 at night. We had to ask the front desk to do something as you could clearly hear them throughout the hotel. When we got to our room, there was no heat and the slider was open to air out the room, which smelled terrible. We were switched to another room.
The following night, after attending a funeral, our family was all asleep before 9 and were woken up by yelling, screaming, and pounding on the walls by our neighbor. It sounded like there were several children with no supervision. We called the front desk and we heard someone knock on their door but they did not stop. An hour later, we had to knock on their door and ask them to please keep it down.
If you decide to stay here, just know it seems to be a hotel where kid club sport teams stay with tons of kids to a few adult chaperones. If you want a quiet place to stay, this probably isn't it.
