Despite the payment being due upon arrival, they tried to charge my credit card while I was on the flight to NY. The payment didn't go through for some reason and they cancelled my booking. So we arrived late at night in New York City to suddenly discover that we didn't have a reserved room and not even an available one to book because in the meantime they sold our room to another guest. The staff at reception didn't care at all about the situation they created and they did nothing to help us.
